Launched in 2006, the CDB Scholarship Award is the first scheme in China funded by financial institution for overseas students. In accordance with China’s economic-diplomacy strategy, it aims to promote cross-cultural exchanges and facilitate joint efforts to build a prosperous and peaceful world in the long run. Since 2006, more than 80 international students from over 20 countries, including Russia, Laos, Nigeria and Zimbabwe, have benefited from the program.
